As Sales Operations Manager (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations. You will build and lead a team of sales operations professionals to support the entire sales organization by managing all administrative tasks and data within a lean process landscape. You will collaborate closely with your complimentary functions in sales, marketing, and other internal teams to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

With the sales operations team, you build the interface between the sales pods in the field and the head-office functions, thereby ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Build, manage and mentor a team of sales operations specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and employee development
  • Develop and implement efficient sales operations processes and procedures to streamline order processing, customer inquiries, and sales administration tasks
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to resolve issues and improve cross-functional alignment
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to drive sales performance
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and promotional activities, supporting the development and execution of sales campaigns
  • Collaborate with IT and systems teams to leverage technology solutions and tools to enhance sales productivity and efficiency

Job requirements

  • You have 5-10 years of proven experience in sales support, sales operations, or a related role, with demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • You bring proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce is a plus), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales operations tools/software
  • You have a strong understanding of sales processes and best practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales operations strategies
  • You bring excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  • You bring the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • You have a professional proficiency in English and German
