Product Sustainability & LCA Manager (f/m/d)

Your mission

As a Product Sustainability & LCA Manager, you will assess the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire life cycle. With your expertise, you will also support our product development team in the realization of innovative and resource-saving solutions that increase product circularity. You will work with suppliers to collect environmental data, analyse it and derive recommended actions. You contribute to instagrids CO2 reduction goals verified by SBTi and lead their implementation.

Your Impact

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments for our products.

• Assess our product circularity according to recognized standards.

• Derive requirements for the product development process in collaboration with Product Owners and the Engineering Team

• Lead the implementation of a Sustainable Product Development Roadmap as a cross-functional project.

• Monitor relevant policies, standards, and regulations related to cicularity.

• Lead the implementation of our Instagrid net-zero roadmap with a focus on Scope 3 emissions.

• 5+ years of experience in project management and comprehensive expertise in conducting life cycle assessments

• Experience working across interdisciplinary teams with a strong technical background

• Expertise in sustainable product development and in applying various approaches to assess and increase product circularity

• Highly self‑organized, driven, and motivated to tackle complex topics

• Strong ability to break down complex subjects for different stakeholders and collaborate on an equal footing

• Professional‑level English proficiency
