Your mission

As a Testing & Validation Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of our lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and complete energy systems. You will plan and execute tests, document results, and directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. In addition to your testing responsibilities, you will support the day-to-day operation and development of our battery laboratory infrastructure.

Your Impact

  • Test and validate lithium-ion cells, modules, and complete battery systems according to defined test plans and industry standards.

  • Set up and execute electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests to verify performance, safety, and reliability.

  • Document test procedures, measurement data, and results in a structured and traceable manner.

  • Maintain, calibrate, and further develop laboratory equipment and test infrastructure to ensure reliable and safe operation.

  • Contribute to the setup and expansion of the battery test laboratory, including assisting in the procurement and commissioning of new test equipment.

  • Support the continuous improvement of test methods and validation processes in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.

What you bring

  • Completed technical qualification or degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.

  • Hands-on experience in testing, measurement technology, or laboratory environments.

  • Familiarity with battery test equipment, data acquisition systems, and common measurement tools.

  • Experience with lithium-ion battery systems is an advantage; a keen interest in battery technology and a willingness to develop expertise in this area are essential.

  • Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
