As a Lab Technician (f/m/d), you are responsible for the preparation, execution, and maintenance of test setups in a dynamic laboratory environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to ensure accurate and efficient test operations.


You will be an important team member in maintaining the high-quality standards of our products and in shaping tomorrow's mobile power supply by:


  • preparing and assembling test setups according to specific requirements.
  • conducting routine and specialized tests under controlled conditions.
  • collaborating with engineers and other technicians to refine test procedures.
  • maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • documenting test procedures, results, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
  • respecting safety protocols and laboratory standards.
  • assisting in the verification and validation of new testing methods and equipment.
  • supporting the optimization of instagrid test facilities.
  • having an analytic thinking and an open mind.
  • helping the team to perform and innovate

Job requirements

You have successfully completed a degree in a technical field such as Electronics or Mechatronics.

You have very good English skills. German skills would be a plus.

You have experience in all or the majority of these topics.

  • Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in test and validation Li-ion batteries.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Experience with 3D-Printing prototyping.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to design and construct test equipment and tools.
  • You have been an electrical instructed person (EUP) in a former position, or you previously worked as a qualified electrician (EFK).
