As Junior Sales Operations Manager you will be crucial in building the future sales operation organization while providing administrative assistance and operational support to our sales team. You are responsible for shaping and efficiently running the transactional part of the sales process with a strong focus on the definition, standardization and digitalization of sales processes and interfaces together with relevant IT functions, users and stakeholders across all functions.


Therefore, you will work closely with the regional sales pods and the operations and finance teams to provide a seamless customer journey from quote to cash. With a pronounced “just do it” mentality you will also be processing orders and maintaining sales records throughout the funnel, and thus be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations.


In this integrated role, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Identification and prioritization of process improvements potentials in close contact to stakeholder and users.
  • Conception of the target processes and requirements for the implementation by the corresponding IT functions.
  • Testing execution of process- and IT developments in cooperation with respective IT functions and user departments.
  • Stakeholder enablement with a comprehensive support concepts, training and documentation.
  • Actively define and execute standards to update the salesforce CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to facilitate order fulfilment and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Set-up, maintain and update sales databases, spreadsheets, and other records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the sales pods with administrative tasks, preparing sales documents, processing orders, and maintaining customer records.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
  • Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.

What you bring

  • Relevant experience in the field of sales and/or sales operations paired with the will and ability to challenge the status quo and optimize the processes and corresponding IT systems.
  • Structured working approach and conceptual skills (proven experience in process mapping and value stream design is a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce is a plus) and transactional Order-to-Cash processes (Cloud ERP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a true team player with a customer-focused approach and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Proficiency in English (German and further languages are a plus) for interacting with diverse sales teams across Europe.
