POSITION SUMMARY:  **This position requires an on-site presence in Latham, NY**

As the Logistics Manager, you will ensure the smooth delivery of our products to our customers and manage the supply chain activities to support the team. You will coordinate the value chain from the collection of our battery systems from our manufacturing partners to the on-time transport to the destination and constantly optimize our supply chain. Our warehouse partner is local and will be a primary relationship to manage. You are the central point of contact for our customer support in logistics and ensure a clean flow of information between us and our logistics service providers.

As a brand ambassador with enormous influence on our customer’s perception of instagrid, you will be responsible for:

• Supply chain workflow.
• Continuous order tracking as well as monitoring of delivery dates and stock level.
• The design of the processes in order processing through fulfillment, and RMA’s and returns management.
• To establish a successful cooperation with logistics and warehouse service providers, identify costs incurred and inquiry management.
• Manage consumables and supplies needed for the field service and support teams.

• You have a successfully completed a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or similar field, or you have proven experience, or completed vocational training in Logistics.
• Bring 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant field for similar devices and systems or similar area.
• You have a broad understanding of the interaction between vendors, suppliers, distributors, sales forecasts, and customer needs.
• You work with a combination of understanding and efficiently manage details and are characterized by a communicative approach to work.
• Onboarding and training may take place in Germany.
• Office is based in Latham, New York.
