At Instagrid you are part of the green-tech revolution by innovating the future of portable power supplies, helping professional workers worldwide step away from combustion generators and making it possible for them to experience a safe, efficient, clean, and silent energy solution. As a Lab Technician (f/m/d), you are responsible for the preparation, execution, and maintenance of test setups in a dynamic laboratory environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to ensure accurate and efficient test operations.

  • Preparing and assembling test setups according to specific requirements, and conducting routine and specialized tests under controlled conditions
  • Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to refine test procedures, and maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Documenting test procedures, results, and observations in a clear and concise manner, and respecting safety protocols and laboratory standards
  • Assisting in the verification and validation of new testing methods and equipment, and supporting the optimization of instagrid test facilities
  • Having an analytic thinking and an open mind, and helping the team to perform and innovate

Job requirements

  • You have successfully completed vocational training in a technical field such as Electronics or Electricity 
  • You have been an electrical instructed person (EUP) in a former position, or you previously worked as a qualified electrician (EFK).
  • You bring experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in test and validation Li-ion batteries
  • You are familiar with laboratory instruments and testing equipment, and bring experience with 3D-Printing prototyping
  • You have very good English skills. German skills would be a plus.
