Working Student (f/m/d) Strategic Initiatives & ESG

Your mission

As a Working Student in the ESG Strategy & Sustainability team, you will support driving Instagrid’s ESG and Impact strategy. You will contribute to implementing sustainability measures within company processes, collect data to make our impact measurable, and help communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Impact

• Analyze international ESG regulations, conduct ESG gap-analysis, and derive actionable recommendations for Instagrid’s compliance and sustainability performance.

• Support Instagrid’s annual ESG reporting in alignment with leading international standards and frameworks.

• Drive and support the company-wide ESG data collection process to ensure accurate, consistent, and audit-ready sustainability data.

• Manage and respond to third-party ESG surveys, sustainability ratings, and external assessment platforms.

• Contribute to expanding Instagrid’s ESG & Sustainability Strategy and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate sustainability metrics into operational planning.

• Assist in ESG-related risk assessments and provide support in meeting coordination, documentations, and governance processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to convey complex ESG topics clearly and professionally.

• Strong ability to understand, interpret, and summarize international reporting standards and regulations such as CSRD, ESRS, GRI, or EU Taxonomy.

• Capability to evaluate the relevance of reporting standards and regulatory requirements for Instagrid and derive recommended actions.

• Pragmatic approach with the ability to break down complex sustainability topics and make them understandable for different stakeholders.

• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage diverse stakeholder needs.

• Hands‑on mentality with an independent and proactive approach to complex tasks.

• Process‑oriented and structured working style, ensuring accuracy and consistency in ESG workflows.

• Strong problem‑solving skills, including identifying potential challenges early and proactively searching for solutions.

• Interest in project management and supporting ESG‑related initiatives from planning to execution.
